About Me
My name is Eva Corssmit,
My background in Biology and Mathematics at the Dutch University of Leiden led me to Maastricht. There I graduated cum laude from the Master of Scientific Illustration in 2022.
In my personal life my interest in the scientific field is widespread. From mathematics to medicine and from biology to philosophy. As a scientific illustrator my passion is to visually communicate knowledge from surgeon to patient, from doctor to student and from researcher to colleague.
Since my thesis about extinct and extant tapir anatomy, I have further followed my love for tapirs. In 2023 I led a full body tapir dissection in the national university of Costa Rica. We are now working on the compilation of a tapir anatomy atlas.
I believe in a world where we divide our good equitably amongst all living beings.
full-service freelancer, creating and designing beautiful animations, Illustrations, and other visualisations.
